Long Distance Relationships

-They do work out if you and your significant other put the effort into it. Communication and trust are crucial parts in any relationship but mostly for a long distant one; without it the relationship would not work out. It’s really hard at times going days, weeks, and even months without seeing that person but when it comes down to that moment where you two are finally together, all that waiting would pay off. It’ll feel so surreal yet really great to be in the presence of one another.

It’s really not that hard is it to say, “Sometimes boys like boys and sometimes girls like girls. Now eat your fucking jello.”

level6bird:

I will always be thankful for being gay.

Some people say it’s a curse, or wish they could change it, but not me.

I feel like gay people tend to (and should) ask the bigger questions about life, society, religion, etc.

We’re automatically put into the “not normal” category from the time we realize that we’re gay. That should be the biggest motivation to question everything around us.

If society/religion is wrong about us, what makes everything else they say acceptable to just eat up?

That’s the main reason why I’m such a critical thinker about marriage, relationships, religion, even the existence of a god. I don’t just accept things because that’s the “norm,” or because that’s what I was taught. Why would I? We’re not the norm! We’re taught that being gay is unacceptable, a disgrace, and it’s morally wrong! I know this isn’t true -so what else is everybody wrong about?

I feel like if you’re gay and you know it’s wrong how we’re treated by all races, all major religions, all ages, all around the world, and yet you still believe everything else that society makes us believe, then you’re just as normal as the people condemning us - and normal in this case is not a good thing. Being gay is not “normal” - but don’t take that offensively. Take it as an opportunity to be different, to think critically, and to question everything.

I love this

Text 3 Apr 11 notes question for my self-identified heterosexual male followers:

thecelestialchild:

ruthisonfire:

how much time do you spend observing & analyzing your fellow male peers in order to get an idea of what behaviors & mannerisms are considered gay?

do you have meetings? do you gather research in groups or do you prefer to work alone? what methods/devices do you use to gather research?

I DEMAND ANSWERS!!!!

and if you have none or are thinking “she’s doing way too much” well then…..you can fill in the blank/s.

lmao
